With one simple tool and a little time, you can easily do it yourself. Find a replacement taillight bulb at any auto parts store and refer to the owner's manual for diagrams. If you don't have a manual, find a link to one in References. Difficulty:Moderately Easy Instructions Things You'll Need Flat head screwdriver Replacement bulb Step by Step : 1 Open the liftgate. 2 Take off the taillight cover. 3 Press the locking tab for the electrical connector and push it to the side. 4 Detach the electrical connector. 5 Remove the wing nut from the taillight assembly. It is located on the back of the assembly. 6 Unfasten the two push pin fasteners with a flat head screwdriver. The pins can be found under the liftgate. 7 Pull the assembly straight out of your Dodge from the outside of the vehicle. 8 Unscrew the bulb and socket counter-clockwise. 9 Pull the bulb and socket out of the assembly. Step by Step : 10 Install the replacement bulb into the socket. Step by Step : 11 Install the bulb and socket back into the assembly and turn it clockwise to secure it. Step by Step : 12 Reverse the previous step to reinstall the taillight assembly. 
Hyundai . How to Change a Taillight Light on a 2002 GMC EnvoyThe 2002 GMC Envoy uses a #3057 bulb in the taillights for the brake lights, marker lights and turn signals. The system used to mount them is a little different than in most vehicles, using a circuit board in the taillight assembly to power the bulbs. Difficulty:Easy Instructions Things You'll Need Phillips screwdriver Step by Step : 1 Open the lift gate of your GMC Envoy to expose two mounting screws on the inboard edge of the taillight assembly. Remove the two screws with a Phillips screwdriver and set them aside for use during reassembly. 2 Grasp the taillight housing and pull it straight out of the body of your Envoy. Carefully slide the aligning pins on the outboard edge of the assembly out of the locks on the body so you do not break them. 3 Locate the electrical connector inside the taillight assembly. Disconnect it from the socket circuit board by pressing the locking tabs and pulling it straight out. 4 Locate the three screws holding the socket circuit board into the taillight assembly. Remove the three screws with a Phillips screwdriver and set them aside. Pull the socket and bulbs out of the taillight assembly, then remove the bulb that you will be changing. The bulb pulls straight out of the socket. 5 Install a new 3057 bulb into the socket, pushing it straight in until it seats completely. Reinstall the socket circuit board onto the taillight assembly, sliding the bulbs into the holes provided for them. Install the three retaining screws and tighten them with a Phillips screwdriver. 6 Push the wiring harness connector into the connector on the circuit board until the locking tab snaps in, locking the harness in place. Position the taillight assembly on the body of the truck and slide it in, being sure to align the two locking pins with the tabs on the body. 7 Install the two mounting screws into the taillight assembly and tighten with a Phillips screwdriver. Close the lift gate and test the lights to ensure they are working as intended.
